Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1: Initiate the Easter Egg

Head to the Dark Aether Church at the back of the map and interact with the SDG Generator on the right wall. This will trigger a conversation with Dr. Pericles Panos, who is situated on the church's balcony.

Step 2: Craft the Thrustodyne M23 Jet Gun

The Jet Gun is a map-specific Wonder Weapon that you'll need to acquire. To craft it, you'll need to collect three items:

  • Handbrake: Kill the Groundskeeper zombie in the cemetery to obtain the Toolshed Key, then use it to unlock the Toolshed and find the Handbrake.
  • Water Pressure Gauge: Go to the Washington Avenue area, find the exposed water pipe, and interact with the valve to obtain the gauge. Then, head to the bowling alley, raise the water meter, and grab the gauge.
  • Electrical Wires: Destroy the gate to the Radio House Electronics Superstore in the Riverside area, then search the piles of scrap to find the Electrical Wires.

Step 3: Collect the LTG Device Parts

With the Jet Gun in hand, you can now use its vacuum function to collect the three LTG Device parts scattered around the map:

  • In the ceiling of Olly's Comics
  • On the rooftop near the Washington Avenue area
  • Floating to the left of the balcony in the Dark Aether Church

After collecting all the parts, head to the rooftop of the Savings & Loan building to assemble the LTG Device.

Step 4: Capture the HVT Targets

  1. Near the gas station, place an Aether Canister on the trap spot and activate the LTG Device to spawn and defend against a wave of zombies. This will summon a unique, high-value target (HVT) enemy, either a Mangler or Abomination.
  2. Weaken the HVT but do not kill it. Instead, lure it to the Aether Canister and activate the trap to capture its essence.
  3. Pick up the filled Aether Canister and take it to the church, depositing it in the SDG Generator.
  4. Repeat the process at the cemetery, capturing a second HVT target.

Step 5: Align the Strauss Counter Projectors

After depositing the second Aether Canister, you'll receive a Strauss Counter tool. Use this to calibrate three projector devices around the map, adjusting their colors to match the indications on the Strauss Counter:

  1. On the hillside leading down from the Dark Aether Church
  2. Near the Toolshed, on the path to Washington Avenue
  3. From the rooftop where we constructed the LTG Device, scan the surroundings until you spot a wooden board with a red cross. Spend 750 essence to destroy it, then drop down into the newly opened area to locate the final projector.
